A Horrible Experience: Patient Records Lost and Care Dismissed at North Texas Neurosurgical Consultants

Tommy: Thank you for agreeing to speak with us today about your experience with North Texas Neurosurgical Consultants. Can you share what your overall experience was like?

Harry: “Horrible! Never came to see my husband after his procedure. Never focused on the problem he went in for. He would just talk about other issues he had that are minor compared to my
His back problems. He gave the office a large folder of records and MRI CDs which I don’t think he ever looked at. He went to get his records back from them and they lost all of his MRI and CT scan discs. I can’t even begin to tell you how angry he is. I just don’t understand how you can loose something like that and then make like it’s no big deal by saying there’s nothing we can do about it. We would never recommend this office or dr. I’m pretty sure losing files is a HIPA violation.“

Tommy: Another patient we spoke with had similar concerns. Can you share your experience?

Max: “Absolutely NO!!!! I RATHER END UP IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. Gives a awful name to all doctors. Makes you feel like just another number, completely the opposite of what is advertised on his website . We went with the hope of understanding what was going on with my husband’s back and what was needing to be done. We also provided the doctor with a MRI and we didn’t see any images or copies or explanation in what the problem was. My husband went in the hospital with server pain and the doctor could care less.
