Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR’S CUT (Simplified Chinese, English, Korean,  Thai, Japanese, Traditional Chinese)

Sucker Punch has partnered with Nixxes to release the acclaimed samurai epic Ghost of Tsushima on PC on May 16, 2024. Ghost of Tsushima has been in high demand with PC gamers since Sony began its efforts to bring more of its catalog of acclaimed PlayStation exclusives to the platform, including titles such as the first two Marvel’s Spider-Man titles (also successfully ported by Nixxes), God of War and The Last of Us Part 1.

Ghost of Tsushima was one of the best games of 2020, released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive just months before the launch of the PlayStation 5. In this critically acclaimed story, Sakai Jin inherits the way of the samurai and honors his family’s legacy while using even more sinister tactics to defend Tsushima from the invading Mongol army. But over time, he realizes he must do more to defeat these fearsome foes and begins to incorporate more stealth-based tactics into his approach, becoming the legendary Ghost of Tsushima.

As with the titles above, PC players will receive the most complete version of the game at launch for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut version. This version was released just over a year after the original release of Ghost of Tsushima for PS4 and PS5. If you previously purchased the game on PS4, you will only need to pay an upgrade fee to be able to play it on both platforms. The Director’s Cut version includes the base game, as well as the Iki Island expansion and online cooperative multiplayer Legends, which were added to the original game after launch.

The game is set in Japan and has the option for Japanese voiceover, but the PS5 version of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut introduces Japanese lip syncing due to the console’s ability to render cinematics in real time. Ghost of Tsushima is one of PlayStation’s most impressive games. Through particle simulation, leaves, flowers, ash, and more are constantly blown into the air over the vast landscapes, creating an eerily tranquil beauty amid the horror of war. This only gets better on the PC version, which can take advantage of the more powerful hardware available to improve the graphics.

The PS5 version of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut has improved load times, 4k resolution options, and a frame rate that is “targeted” at 60 FPS, but Nixxes explained in a PlayStation blog post that it is taking advantage of the latest performance enhancing technologies that further improve these features on PC. Upscaling and frame generation options are both available via AI-based NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) 3, AMD FSR (FidelityFX™ Super Resolution) 3, and Intel XeSS (Xe Super Sampling). The latter is used by graphics cards from a variety of manufacturers and is familiar to most.

Ghost of Tsushima on PC also offers unlocked frame rates and a range of graphics settings and presets, including support for ultrawide monitors. The title is fully optimized for ultrawide 21:9 and super ultrawide 32:9 resolutions, and supports 48:9 resolutions on triple monitor setups, allowing players to see more of the vast landscapes and ancient landmarks with a cinematic field of view. .

Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut features both full controller support with Steam Input and customizable mouse and keyboard controls, allowing players to play with the peripherals they prefer. Use.
