FINAL FANTASY XIV Online | Xbox

Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker will be released in November and players are desperately trying to break through the massive amount of content that the MMO-JRPG has to offer. The aim is to play through the story first, which takes quite a while as there are a total of three expansions in addition to A Realm Reborn. This is why many players make the mistake of rushing through the story and then having no idea what happens in the new content. Other players may have completed the story years ago and may have forgotten important parts because so much time has passed.

Endwalker will be the end of Hydaelyn and Zodiac’s story, which means that many stories will be concluded in the expansions. So to get the most out of the text and characters, it’s important to know what’s happened up until that point. Since A Realm Reborn, the MMO has gotten better and better with each expansion, so fans are super excited to see what’s to come. Before we go any further, though, many will want to review the story so far, including what happened in the original game, which is no longer accessible.

The Story In Final Fantasy 14 Online

The original FF14 has been remastered and remastered, but the story still remains a key part of it. The story begins in the Sixth Astral Era, during the Garlean Empire’s attempt to conquer the city-states of Eorzea. The Garleans discovered that the planet’s small moon, Dalamand, could be used as a weapon if it were destroyed and allowed to fall on Eorzea. In response, the Eorzean city-states formed a conglomerate and allied with each other. The Garlean who spearheaded the Dalamand Plan was Legatus Nael van Darnas, but she was defeated by the efforts of the adventurers. But their defeat did not prevent what happened next.

During an epic battle between the Grand Companies and the Garlean Invasion, the Dalamad Moon fell. The moon exploded, and a primordial dragon named Bahamut emerged and began destroying everything around it. The dragon had originally been held captive, and the moon was actually created by the planet’s ancient, lost civilization, the Allagan Empire, to keep dangerous creatures at bay. Bahamut killed many and destroyed everything in his path, sparking what would become known as the Seventh Umbral Cataclysm.

The players are rescued by Louisoix Leveilleur, a Sharla scholar and leader of the Circle of Knowing (later called the Descendants of the Seventh Dawn). The scholar sends the players through time and space to where they are needed next. The original Final Fantasy 14 game was then removed and reborn in the next title.

It is worth noting that aside from Louisoix, other important characters throughout the story appear in this 2010 game. These characters included members of the Circle of Knowing such as Thancred, Ida, Uriange, Paparimo, and Ishtola. Of course, city-state leaders such as Nanamo, Kan-e-Senna, and Merluv were all involved in the fight against the Garleans. Players also met Minfilia as a young child, witnessing her father’s death when an angry Goobbue was set free on Ul’dah. Flamin was also an active character, and during the events of this game she adopted Minfilia as her own child.

This story is later picked up in A Realm Reborn, where the player is either a new player or one teleported by Louisoix during Bahamut’s rampage. Five years have passed since Bahamut’s attack, and even if the player is not a new player, the NPCs have no memory of Bahamut, having had his true identity wiped from their memory. As the player character takes on odd jobs and adventures, he becomes involved with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, led by an adult Minfilia, who has been there since Louisoix sacrificed herself to protect others from Bahamut.

The player character has a vision of a giant crystal, which explains that the Scions are blessed with Echoes. Echoes are a power bestowed upon the chosen ones by Heidarin, a sentient crystal that oversees the life and elements of the world. Some members of the Scions have Echoes, and the player’s special Echo ability is to peer into people’s memories. As Echo prevents Primal from brainwashing her, this character quickly becomes a hero as he deals with the summoning of Primals from the various animal tribes of Eorzea. However, it soon becomes clear that the animal tribes are only being manipulated by something much bigger – mysterious people in black cloaks called the Ascians.

It becomes clear that the Ascians are not only manipulating the animal tribes, but also the Garlean Empire, who are still trying to conquer Eorzea. The Empire sees the Descendants of the Seventh Dawn as a threat and invades their home base in the Sands of Awakening, killing everyone except Minfilia, who is kidnapped. This character and Louisoix’s grandson Alphinaud, with help from Cid, defeat the Garuda, another barbarian tribe, and push back the Ascians. However, the Garlean Empire is already far ahead with its own plans. A warrior named Legatus Gaius van Baelsar is leading a project to create a war machine called the Ultima Weapon, which gains power by feeding on primals, and is made with the purpose of conquering Eorzea. .

The protagonist, who is named the Warrior of Light for his incredible feat, joins forces with the surviving members of the Scion to save Minfilia. However, the victory does not last long, as Thancred, who went out alone to investigate the Ascians, is possessed by one named Lahabrea. The Warrior of Light, the Scions, and the Eorzean Alliance join forces to defeat the Ultima Weapon and succeed in rescuing Thancred from the Ascians. The Scions then establish a new headquarters in Revenant’s Toll and begin helping refugees from Doma, who fell victim to the Garlean Empire.

A scion named Morhenbrida visits from Sharrayan and finds a way to kill the Ascians for good, but does so at the risk of his own life. Around this time, the Warrior of Light also loses his connection to Hydaelyn, as he meets an ancient Dragonlord named Midgardsormr, who wishes to test his worth. The city-state of Ishgard faces an all-out war against the dragons and allies with the Scions to help them.

While all of this is happening, Alphinaud decides to form a group called the Crystal Braves to form a unified Grand Company for all of Eorzea. The scions are all invited to a banquet in Uda by Sultana Nanamo. However, Nanamo collapses from poisoned wine during the party and is framed by the heirs. The Crystal Braves also betray the Scions and accept payment from Lolorito to capture them. Only Alphinaud and the Warrior of Light escape, and defect to Ishgard with Tataru.

During a meeting to discuss the possibility of Ascian manipulation, half of the Scions are struck by a spiritual calling and fall into a coma.

Gaius reveals to the Warrior of Light that the Ascians have three leaders. Elidibus, now acting through Xeno’s body, is one who has yet to reveal his true identity to Lahabrea. The Empire is also working on developing an incredibly powerful chemical weapon called the Black Rose. The Eorzean leaders decide to meet with the current Garlean Emperor, Varys, to discuss peace. More Scions fall into mysterious comas, and the Warrior of Light hears a psychic message that they are needed and to search for a specific beacon in the Crystal Tower.

The power of the line prevents the Lightwardens from transforming into Lightwardens, and the two set off to defeat Emet-Selch and rescue Graha Tir. After learning that Emet-Selch is dead, Elidibus tries to fight Scion in the First but loses. Through magical efforts, all the Scions return to their world and manage to take Graha Tia with them.

It is then revealed that there is a rebel Ascian named Fandaniel who joins Xenos and builds towers around Eorzea, forcing people to fight each other and draining the land of Aether. In the face of this new threat, the city-state makes a peace alliance with the animal tribes, and Estinien officially joins the Scions. Eorzean leaders and scions ask Shahrayan for help, but they refuse. Fandaniel and Xenos make final preparations for the upcoming final battle seen in Endwalker.
